As i said, you dont NEED a rwd for an ev, but its easier if you want to ditch the transmisioin as another poster said. It might be more enjoyable to drive to you thoo.
BUT, on the other side , if you use a FWD, you get the center tunnel to put battery in, and thats a nice spot .
weight weight weight is the issue, you need to have a good 900 pounds allowage in payload, else you need to strip some. And the lighter the more range it will have.
DC vs AC is what you need to look into. the best ev use AC, they get a lot more range and regenerative braking. DC are a joke to put together thoo.
