Its just a 10hp yanmar clone, electric start. I'm kind of setting the generator/hybrid aspect aside until I get things running smoothly as a pure electric. With that being said:
It moves!......fast....really fast. Like, this is by far the fastest car I've ever been in. It will roast the tires at will, and push you back in the seat so hard its scary. I still don't know what full throttle is like, I'm not that brave.
