This is strange - It looks like all of ZAP's vehicles are made in China. ZAP does not appear to make charging equipment, battery swap equipment nor anything else EV related - they appear to only buy from other companies.
A glorified plug can't be that hard to copy. I'd imagine the Chinese will only buy a couple of token 'charging stations' before they start mass producing their own.
In addition, how is it that a Chinese city would want to buy Chinese vehicles through a US retailer? Do any US cities go through Chinese brokers to buy a Chevy?
