You'll find me driving with just the corner lights on (looks identical from the rear) on divided highways when ambient lighting is marginal.
Also, two minutes of sitting with the engine off really takes a toll on my states of charge, so I make sure I don't run the brake lights. During windows-down weather, I'll also use hand signals at long lights. Headlights? Usually not optional in those situations, but I wish they were.
