I want to buy a nice gps for the upcoming holidays. I was thinking of buying the Magellan Roadmate 1700. I found a great deal on qvc.com that includes the roadmate 1700 and a map update (worth 80 dollars) for 180 dollars + tax. In my opinion it is a great deal.

Anyone have a roadmate 1700? Please give me your opinion before I buy a gps.
