Panasonic has come out with their lastest 18650 cell: a whopping 4 Ah cell!! That's almost twice what a lot of laptops have! And they just dumped $30 million into Tesla's lap! Hmmmm, think there is any connection? Tesla wouldn't say who their 18650 supplier was.....

And they teamed up with Toyota too. So yeah, I agree that battery tech is still growing quite well.
As for the video, I had to look up what a "strimmer" was! Too bad he has to give up that iMiEV.....
