With an EPA rating of 28 highway and a 13.2 gallon tank, I didn't even this this was possible, but thanks to a great start with 250 miles of mountain highway driving (with lots of EOC) and really improving my technique on my commute, I managed a 513.3 mile tank!
513.3 miles, 12.388 gallons also set a new personal best of
41.4mpg. Three months ago I was happy on the rare occasions when I got 30 mpg on an all highway tank. Now I'd be disappointed with a 36mpg tank of city driving.
Thanks everyone for all the advice, tips, and suggestions. This hypermiling this is probably the most addictive things I've ever done with my clothes on. ...and heck, I can't even get written up for talking about it at work.
