Great pic of the inner workings of the M271, thanks for that SlideWRX.

Well last Friday I ziptied a piece of pink foam to the front of the rad. I didn't use the slats in the rad at all. I used the zig-zag pipe that goes in front of it all, as seen in my first engine bay pic. It does not cover nearly all the front area of the radiator. However it does seem to warm up a bit quicker. But since it is ziptied before the rad, air can get behind it. I found some cardboard when cleaning my house that I may try.


You know your an eco-modder when you find all sorts of stuff, and think "radiator block"!
