I had a 2 stroke street bike back in the 80's. Very fast, it was a Yamaha Daytona Special. Needed new pistons every 2500 miles according to the owners manual!
Thing smoked and was extremely loud.
I thought Al Gore was going to outlaw 2 strokes... I really see no need for 2 strokes anymore since the technology for 4 strokes has improved so much in the small engine department.
