I found out recently that my power steering does not deactivate when I use the engine kill button
The PS pump does not run off the engine but is electric, and if I kill the engine with the button, then I can hear it pumping when I turn the steering wheel, and the interior lights slightly dim. This does not happen if I turn the engine off by turning the key to '0' and then back to '1'. This is good news if I decide to EO(ff)C, but it will drain my battery quicker, so I should keep an eye on it. Unless I add a manual off for the PS pump.
