My goal for this year is to just get my damn Metro up and going reliably ( I have only had it for 9 days). so far I have yet to get concrete numbers because of a fuel leak, but it seems to be averaging 38-40 mpg after having leaked out an indeterminate amount of fuel. For next year I hope to average 50 mpg using it for pizza delivery.

No green technology will ever make a substantive environmental impact until it is economically viable for most people to use it. This must be from a reduction in net cost of the new technology, not an increase in the cost of the old technology through taxation



(Note: the car sees 100% city driving and is EPA rated at 37 mpg city)
