I found a PUROLATOR HIGH FLOW WASHABLE Air Filter / Air Cleaner at Wal mart about 4 years ago... I took the air filter system out of the truck, washed it with soap, etc. I installed the new filter, cost was about $15.00. I went to 21.6 to 22 MPG, SAME 38 mile route, north to south every day. It was awesome! In headwinds, still got 19.5 MPG. Traveled 68 to 71 MPH average and only 2 stop signs, 36 miles were interstate 4 and 6 lane.
