long story short, I used to drive a Jeep wrangler Unlimited, At taht time I drove 4 miles/day and 2+ of it was on unpaved surfaces. a little over a year ago I got a new job and now I drive 80+ miles/day on the freeway. I loved the jeep but it was going to kill me!

so I recently traded it in on a honda civic. in 10 days I have 1100 miles on it already (lots of holiday traveling) and I've been averaging 35 MPG, which is over double my Jeeps 16.5.

I've been on some honda forums but those guys just want to make their car look like the batmobile, sound like a fart, and ride on $2,000 bling-bling rims.

I'm glad I found this forum, I'm looking to save money with my new car so I can have more money to spend on the other things in life to enjoy...

so start teaching me, I'm all ears!
