I've never seen ridged sheets for sale, everything that I've seen was the fabric that you put resin on, putting carbon fiber on something like a sheet of cardboard will give you a light weight core to help make it ridged, otherwise forming it right to the shape that you would would be ideal.
As for where to get it, the stuff I've used at work came from Ebay, the epoxy came from Raka.com
