Thanks Varn! I did find speed-rated scooter tires,but all were a minimum of 13-inch wheel size which would require massive reconfiguration of Viking,something my time budget just won't absorb if I'm to make it to Bonneville by September.
The 17" wheel tire/swing-arm/mono-shock/subframe unit ought to get me in the game and I also believe it will also serve me underneath the Beechcraft V-tail Bonanza fuselage trailer project which is also gestating.We'll see.
