I'm always reluctant to call a rotating load
light.
A 205/55/16 tyre has around 2m circumference, so it rotates 500 times/km.
If you're doing 100km/h (62 mph) it's rotating 50.000 times / hour or nearly 14 times / second ; 840 rpm.
In addition the wheels are taking all the punishment the road can throw at them.
