Not haven't seen your vehicle with its FIA cage, it is difficult to gauge if the IMCA route would be more aero-advantageous. Even with just a half windshield and flat tonneau cover, your A, B, C pillars (non-airfoil profiles) & your padded roll tubes (cylindrical) present interference & higher induced drag instead of a larger but cleaner overall profile. The mono fighters flew circles around the opposition biplanes with their exposed struts, braces & wires, less vortices.
