3 things you could do....

* do an oil flush...where you add 1 pint of kerosene/diesel to your oil before an oil change and run the engine for 15-20 minutes at a fast idle...this will lower your oil pressure just a few lbs

* using a dishwashing soap container...dribble a full pint of water into the primary side carb opening while keeping the rpms up around 2K
...don't stall it.

> Caution...do not get water into the tube that vents the fuel bowl...you WILL have carb problems

* install a catchcan in your PCV line

I do the oil and water flush everytime I change oil and use a catch can. I once ran a quart or so of water into a 1.5L Tercel engine over 50 miles when testing water "injection"...result was an decrease in oil use from 5K per qt to 9K per qt. I was also using a top lube in the gas at the time.
