I picked up mine for about 14, so thats 3K less, and by the looks of the real mileage Cruze owners are posting in the forum garage, the 2011 cruzes are getting 6-MPG less than my '11 civic.

If efficiency is the game we are playing here, The Chevy is losing.

Thats leaving out resale value, long term reliability, cost of ownership.

For the made in the USA crowd... My Civic was assembled in America with 70 Percent American Parts and 15% Canadian parts. I would like to compare that to the Chevy Cruze. They are building a few of them in their Ohio plant as a PR stunt, but the majority of them are coming from Korea, previously branded (and still branded as such in other markets) as the Suzuki Ignus and the Daewoo Lacetti.

I'm going to file my taxes this weekend, you're welcome to all new GM and Chrylser owners out there
