On my '05 Ford Excursion 6.8L V-10 my Ultra-Guage reads 2.85 at 15 degrees F and the lowest I've seen it is .83
Obviously not the ideal commuter car but it does get used some depending on weather (bad) and my work schedule vs her schedule. We try to share the Honda CR-V (1.6 cold and .31 warmed up) for our winter commutes and save the big Ex for towing the race trailer and camper.
