For the desaturation detection, they recommend some amount of time for an RC time constant, and the C in the RC is an 0805 capacitor, which really isn't that bad to solder, so I was just warning anyone that is going to use the control board with an igbt driver. one 0805 cap if you want to use the fault signal from the driver board! You can do it!
