I'd like to say hello and its been educational reading the posts here. I've visited this site constantly sine the purchase of my 92 metro xfi 2 months ago. I found this car on craigs list in alabama and until i brought it home had no idea what it was. I've heard of metro's and thought they all were the same. When I was looking at the car to purchase it i asked the owner exactly what xfi meant. He said he had no idea. I bought it, brought it home and stated looking online for the details. since then it's been my "toy." I only gave $450 for the car and had to change plugs, timing, tires and fix wiring problems but now its running great.
Averaging 39.5 mpg in town. no highway mileage because i haven't had it on the highway for more than a few miles. right now i'm still in the tinkering stages.
