My favorite point to make about Dragsters:
Sitting at the line, waiting for the light, it will race your favorite 200 mph super car. It will even give the supercar a 200 mph advantage. When that car crosses the line, The dragster starts its run. It will accelerate so fast, it will catch up and *pass* the 200 mph car and beat it to the finish line. That is FAST! I went to an NHRA Race a couple years ago, and even sitting about 500 feet away from the start line, you feel the pressure wave from when they hit the gas. Then the rumbling and NOISE that reverberates in your chest as they go by. God, those are fun machines to watch. With earplugs though. Without, it actually hurt my ears.
