To be honest, I have the PCB - haven't ordered the chip yet. it's only 8 pins, and I've soldered SMD before; this one will be a milk run compared to some things I've done.

I want to place my parts order all at once to save on shipping, but haven't set down at the PC long enough to go through the whole BoM and order it all in one shot. Sick kids, other projects, chores, etc.
