0.183e is exactly halfway between 0.016e and 0.02, so it is linear.
As Piwoslaw said, changing the denominator makes the relationship 1/x.
The only thing that is really logical in math is... logic. I love logic but most other math (especially thinking for ages about how it works) makes my head hurt.
