Poll: does your Civic VX have a PCV valve?

There is a bit of disagreement on if the civic VX has a check valve in it's PCV hose, some find it in the upper elbow, some find it in the lower straight joint going in to the breather box, some find the PCV hose joints to be empty, void all together of a check valve.
So I wonder if it's only some years that had a check valve or California that did.
There has to be a pattern some where in why some of us have a check valve and some don't.
