Almost Got EPA Highway Rating!

Okay, I know it doesn't seem like a big success at first, but it's progress, at least.

So far the best tank (out of about 8) I had recorded on my new-to-me 2006 CR-V was a 24.5, and that was a highway trip in nice weather with no A/C, so I was sort of bummed by our new car.

BUUuuut, we had a highway trip yesterday and today, 70 mph, nasty crosswind (20+mph), and got 28.5 mpg. So I hope to break 30 pretty easily on trips without the crosswind.

No real mods yet. Tires are at about 38 psi. Paid attention to not pressing the gas hard enough to drop out of TC lockup. Hoping to pick up an Ultragauge.

Anyway, just wanted to register a data point here to look back on in the future.
