diesel mustang--how would you make one?
I'm thinking about making a 99 mustang a diesel? I'm not really sure if it's possible but I'm just brainstorming. So far I have heard that a diesel out of an old ranger would work but that's as far as I've gotten. I wonder what kind of motor mounts that would require and who would have them or would they need to custom made.
What kind of engine do you think would work best? I know a new VW engine would be awesome but I think the electronics would be a pain and it would require more additional parts in the drivetrain, i.e. transmission and driveshaft. Do I have any other options here?
