New Idea?

So I noticed a bus the other day, it had fur!

Well not exactly fur, but the wheel arch was filled with thick nylon(?) broom bristles. When the bus tilts (air ride) the tire tucks past them, and while turning the wheel just pushes through the bristles.

I was wondering if any eco-modders have tried similar methods? Using durable and flexible bristles to fill in the wheel well gaps. The ones on the bus were black and it was rather discrete if you ask me. Especially when compared to something like wheel skirts!
