Look TJ, if data is made available, it gets used in ways folks will not appreciate, that is exactly what happened in the story that redneck posted (police "profiting" from users gps subscriptions). You would have to be really naive to not realize that. I have seen it countless times myself.

If you are blind to this simple mechanism, then you are either a complete fool or your bonus depends upon getting people to believe you, or both.
