Bed Cover/Cap questions

Hello everyone,

I have a couple of questions about how to "control" the bed of my truck. The biggest one is where to find coroplast now that "election season" is over. The party headquarters were rather stingy around here and didn't want to part with any good size pieces. Said they had been paid for by candidates. I said if I had called during elections you would have given them away if I put it in my front yard. No dice, grrrrr! I have an idea for a real cheap DIY "tonneau" cover made from coroplast but can't find any.

The other question is, if that idea doesn't pan out I think I am going to try a full on bed cap. After deleting the side mirrors though I think I would need to make a good portion (or all) of it out of something clear. What could I use that isn't going to put a huge dent in my wallet? Plexi-glass isn't all that cheap around here. The piece for my grill block (14x36) was almost $15. I estimate two 4'x8' sheets to do the whole thing. Does anyone have a line on cheap, clear material? Plexi or something else.

Thanks for the advice.
