In fact it was all I could do to get my foot off of the accelerator and I was just lightly touching it which caused the van to accelerate to an unbelievable speed of 75-mph in a heart beat and it just wanted to keep on going and going!

With that much power i'm sure letting off of the gas pedal wouldn't do that much to help slow you down.

I have experimented with a number of Implosive type reactors ....... implosive turbine wing......an internally ducted wind activated electrically powered implosive ramjet turbine!

- wind activated - sounds like wind powered to me
- electrically powered - apparently some ungodly powerfully motor, drawing it's power out of nowhere
- Ramjet Turbine - Ramjets require considerable forward speed to operate well, and as a class work most efficiently at speeds around Mach 3. This type of jet can operate up to speeds of Mach 6. there is no such thing as a ramjet turbine, it's one or the other. Yes i know the SR-71 had a combination of the 2, but one was built around the other.
