Keeps the inside cooler so you don't have to use the A/C as much and use up more gas. Or if you don't use your A/C anyway and keep your windows rolled down then it will allow you to roll your windows up and increase your aerodynamics and use less gas.
I'm looking to do mine soon and getting 30% all around.
