An Inexpensive & More Versatile option to ScanGauge

For those that may not know, there is an App for Android Based smartphones called "Torque" (It is in the market) that interfaces with a Bluetooth OBD2 code reader readily available on Ebay.

You can pick up a ELM327 OBD2 Adaptor for $29.99 shipped, and the torque app is $5.

The app can tell you instantaneous fuel economy, average fuel economy, basically can stream realtime data from any sensor the ECU monitors. It can also tell you vehicle speed based off of your GPS signal, which helps tell you if your speedo is off from changing tires. It can read/clear codes as well, really a fantastic tool.

The fact that it is wireless is also nice, I've used it on my 99 Civic and my 96 Landcruiser and it works perfect...

Cheers!
