check your brakes

just got stranded for a while, fron brakes seized on, just enough that i noticed a big drop in FE. seemed ok once i parked for an hour. On the way home (3 hours) I downshifted and used the e-brake to stop, not wanting to get the front pads to seize on again. I did notice a slightly better FE than normall after not using my brakes for an hour and a half

Anyways, I got the idea that after driving for a while I should check the brake temperature to see if brakes are sticking, a small pressure would not be noticable whike driving but woudl affect Fe. If you can drive a while and pull over without using the brakes, you may get an idea if you may have a slightly sticking brake just by touching the rim, or if you can, the rotor, mine were nice and cool by the time i got home
