New guy here from Nor*Cal and just wanted to say Hi! I have a '93 Geo Metro Base 5 spd. and love the mpg's! Back in Jan., she wouldn't pass smog anymore. She has 257,xxx and still runs. I recently had timing belt changed, and that's when the problems started. The shop never timed it or did it wrong and that's why she didn't pass. Took it to another shop and had it timed, had a tune up, and an oil change. Well, added oil cause she leaks.
Passed smog and mpg's went from an average of 37-40 to 43-45 now. I'm going to get the oil leak(s) fixed and I'm looking to get more mpg's out of her!
