This is exactly what my F-150's tires do if inflated to the sidewall pressure (45psi, IIRC). It took a couple thousand of miles to become obvious. On the other hand, they are fine at 42psi front/40psi rear and rotated regularly.

A vehicle with a better weight balance or with less of a difference between normal load and max load probably would not show as much of a difference.
