Thanks for the report, I just looked at the Vetter sit and was impressed at the diesles, 133.5 miles on 1 gallon of fuel . When I compair my 68.4mpg on the interstate at 70 mph + [close to the vetter standard] I am hopeful that with more development I can show up and not do too bad next year. I will be ordering a 35T rear sprocket to replace the 33T sprocket that is to low for the power curv of the GS500 in 6th gear. The body work is being worked on; 'improved', and with any luck I will be into the 70mpg - 80mpg range this year and maybe 80mpg - 90mpg next year for the 2012 Vetter Challenge.
What do you have in mind for next year for modifications? I may be able to help, in that I have made many of the mistakes already and you can avoid mine and go on to some of your own. The Lacey people may have pic's of my bike and I will be putting some on emgarage when the current mods are done in the next week or two.
