They do now: Nook Color Can Now Use Bluetooth For Keyboards And SIP Calling
There are also ODB scanners with USB output. That falls into the "I don't see why it wouldn't work" category, but I don't see why not. I asked over at the Torque forum if anyone has done that yet.
