I don't know how the UG calibration process works. They way I did my Scangauge was to keep a running tally of Scangauge-reported gallons and actual pump gallons. After a few tanks you get a really good number. Now I just set it to that and know it's right. (+10% fuel = -10% mpg for my car and driving style)
The mpguino does not use the OBD port so it can run beside either the SG or UG.
