my issue is not turning off the car but turning it back on. Is there a way to do this without the starter? In my old E150 van stick with dual tanks when I was not paying attention and ran out of fuel the engine would die I would simply flip the tank switch and within 30 seconds the engine would just start right up again and off I go.
Is there anyway to do THIS? IE my idea is a kill switch momentary. I press the button the car shuts down I release the button it starts up again without the starter (like the van did) if thats possible. Suggestions?
I am also thinking a FOOT switch to engage the starter. so with my left foot I can depress the switch to restart the engine (for when I slow down too far to restart normally or if I EOC to a stop etc..)
Suggestions?
