I agree about the new class for cars, but it should extend beyond type to include registration and insurance benefits. Right now, three-wheel cars (e.g. Aptera) have it great in California since it is considered a motorcycle, but in areas like Ohio, that distinction has kept some unique vehicles off the road.

The only way that will happen is if the Greenpeace nuts have their way and stop us building nuclear plants.

That is a pretty neat car. I agree that less exotic materials would make it far more practical. The repair costs would be horrendous, so car insurance would be expensive. Liability would probably be cheap though since you couldn't possibly damage any other car on the road with it!
