I know a good solution for this problem... do away with suv's. I mean, do soccer moms really need these big gas guzzling monstrosities? Sure they are safer, but only if you are in it... that doesn't say much for the poor guy you hit, but maybe that isn't taken into consideration when it comes to safety. Anyway, my point is, I think we could do without these on the road, and I think a standard bumper hieght is a great idea, as it would certainly save lives, which I think is more important than people needing to compensate by flexing their financial muscle for nothing more than image.
