I loved my 96 Saturn SL while I had it. Unfortunately I ran it into a guard rail last winter, that cracked up the bumper and fenders. I drove it for a long time after that but finally had to sell when it started losing coolant. And the heater stopped working well. It used a quart of oil every fill up and I never got around to doing a piston soak.
I still miss it. Especially compared to my new 99 Accord and its sub-30 mpg. Congratulations!
