Bushing and a shaft seal! That sound like exactly what I'll be fixing. Thanks! Was thinking it was an O-ring. Wonder if I'll have to take out the whole injection pump to fix it.

I had a similar throttle shaft issue with our diesel ranger (2.3 turbo mitsu) and it was a worn bushing combined with a bad shaft seal.

Was your first tank on the old diesel fuel?
