Wow!
Here's what I'm guessing:
- Your V50 has more problems than you suspected.
- The S40 is lighter and/or has better CdA.
- It has a slightly newer version of the lump and/or ECU.
- Are the gearboxes exactly the same?
Tell the service station crew about how big the difference is and ask why that could be. Maybe you could trade?
