As I mentioned earlier, the only window shades I could find here were black. But on our trip to Slovenia last month I noticed that most cars have white shades inside their rear windows. Of course, they know what they're doing, getting more sun than here. Unfortunately, by the time I decided that this is a good chance to buy them it was too late.
Epilog: I finally found lighter colored window shades:
Cute, eh? For $3/pair I kinda like 'em.
