dcb, that picture scares me more than anything I've ever seen on the road. I know it's got to be legal somewhere and I know there was an engineer or two involved in its design and production, but that's scary as hell. And no, vinny, it ain't legal in the UK:

Thymeclock- I see Bob as a little defensive at worst. An unapologetic fan amid what he feels is an unfriendly crowd. I've only known four Prius owners, and they've all been simply thrilled to own a car like that. I just see it as a vehicle whose main selling point is not burning much gas.
