Hey redyaris, I don't have instrumentation so I can't speak by experience, but I have read that your problem about the SG turning off can be remedied by putting the SG in 'hybrid mode' or something like that.
If I understand it correctly, you've probably already been prompted to input engine type into the SG, and choosing hybrid might solve your problem.
Maybe someone with experience can chime in and verify my claim.
