Alignment

I went in to get an alignment done, and the guy told me that my tie rods were bad. They gave me an estimate of $180 for parts and $120 for labor. I told him thank you and left. The exact parts (looked up the part number) at O'Rileys auto parts cost $90 and I could put them on myself. However, my alignment doesn't feel out of align, so I don't think it must be really bad. I got this car for $200, and have $500 into it. I don't think I need to put this money into it right now. I'm pretty angry that they were going to charge $90 for a $45 part...
